Hi everyone!
With any substantial release comes a few problems, hopefully not many.
1) the micro sub center section is not attaching to other center sections. - I have a solution 2) the jetpack isn't working in space - Issues were found and are being fixed 3) camera gets stuck after launch screen goes dark with a glowing ball thing. - unconfirmed*
Issues reported that are not bugs (and why):
1) the missile is exploding before it gets to the target! Why: The trident was originally a sub-launched nuclear ballistic missile. These missiles air-burst at an altitude above the target for optimal effect. If you were to draw a ball from the middle of the explosion the greatest distance or circumference would be at the middle of the ball. This is why they detonate above the target, so they get a larger area of effect.
2) My missile won't work! Why: You need to have a target (double click or set as target on the map) first, then launch the missile and finally if it doesn't switch you to the missile use [ or ] so you are riding along with the missile. This is how these missiles work, they are considered vessels so you need to be within 300m of them to operate (I hope to change this one day). To switch back to the sub after launch select the map(m) and choose the sub and fly it.

#3 My sub doesn't make it to the water, it explodes on the beach! Why: Some computers can't handle the launching code as it's a time sensitive process. It's best to reduce the load on the computer by: a) turning off persistent debris. b) changing the physics time in the game settings. c) not cluttering the area of the KSC with other ships/vessels/etc. All these need to load when the game is first trying to launch the ship, if there is too much lag the program gets bogged down and the code messes up the launch. d) open the control part (ConTower for the carrier, periscope for the big sub, bow for the microsub, etc.) look for the module entry called boatInterface and the variable launchTime or moveTime (I can't recall)this is at 5 by default, change this to 8 or 10. This will prolong the time the process will be called to allow the boat to safely make it to the water.

A new version was uploaded to spaceport fixing some code and an issue with the center portion of the mini sub, it can now connect to other center portions! I also included a new part, a saddle float tank. These you can slap on the sides of your creations to help float the boat

Hey i need some help. i downloaded the files on the site but theres something wrong. KSP says that whenever i load the ship parts are missing. i checked the files and it was right. some of the RF4 parts are missing. Please help me!

Hey, Dice, when I downloaded the R4 on KerbalSpaceport, I opened the file up and it said: Unexpected end of archive, and when I tried to put the files in to the KSP directory it said: The file is either unknown format or damaged. What do I do!!??!?!?!

The only solution is re-downloading it. If you still have issues let me know and I'll get the file on googledocs and you can try grabbing it from there.

The subs give me no option to flood the ballast or dive or anything like that. What do?
Edit: never mind, i installed it again and it worked. You should update the user maunal to say that it's now 9 and 0 instead of 7 and 9.

Why does the missile not work, it just keeps going up and up and then goes to Kerbin escape??!?!!? The previously released Trident that came with BoatParts R4 has now been moved over to the Skillful mod. It's more at home there with all the other weapons
